Following are the names and details of few students belongs to Royal College of Nursing, Bangalore who are suspected of undergoing PB BSC (N) & MSC (N) courses illegally without attending regular classes. Based on the preliminary investigations and its evidences, activities such as submission of fake and manipulated affidavits in Rs.20/- stamp paper etc they might get arrested by Bangalore Police, authorities of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Karnataka State Nursing Council etc. Annual examinations for PB BSC (N) & MSC (N) are scheduled to be held by 2023 February. All these suspected fraud and fake nurses are supposed to be attend. Above authorities are waiting for the right time to nab them. Beware, a nurses produced from any of the notorious nursing institution in Karnataka who inserts a needle to you inject a medicine may not have attended a single class nor may have taken even a semblance of nursing training to handle medical emergencies and they are playing a deadly game with poor patient’s life. All the authorities such as Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Karnataka State Nursing Council, Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board, Indian Nursing Council who are supposed to be protectors of our life now become destroyers of our life.
What is nursing? Nursing is the protection, promotion and optimization of health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, alleviation of suffering through diagnosis and treatment of human response and advocacy in the care of individuals, families, communities and populations.
Nursing is a profession that needed more knowledge in practice than in theory. But each and everything related to nursing education deceived here in Karnataka. Karnataka state is having the largest numbers of nursing institute in the country. The various nursing educational institutions in Karnataka which offers 3 years General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), 2 years Post Basic BSc and 2 years MSc nursing courses admit students to these courses and encourage them to work elsewhere and allow them to appear only for the examinations without attending regular classes, an easiest and shortest way of obtaining a diploma, under graduation and post-graduation? No institute or colleges of universities are permitted to conduct any nursing courses through correspondence or irregular way. This kind of practices poses big threat not only to the health care system of our nation but also to the humankind in general. Everyone who has a concern over the safety of human being should raise their voice over this issue.
But contrary to this existing rules and regulations, many nursing institutions in Karnataka by pass this rules and regulations and allow the students for not attending regular class. After obtaining admissions nursing students need to appear only for examinations. By the assistance/ support of all the authorities’ institution managements ensure sure pass for students in the final examinations! For students it is the easiest and shortest way to become a nurse either with a diploma qualification in nursing or a graduation in nursing or a post-graduation in nursing. The management goes to any extreme end for earning money through this illegal way. Fate of our nation begins here.
The one and only organization in India who raised voice against this atrocity and public cheating was WAPSI (Welfare Association of Professional Scholars in India) headed by renowned educationalist, social worker and RTI activist Sri. M. K. Thomas. On the behalf of the organization he submitted many complaints before various authorities. But later found that this daylight public cheating is operated hands in glove with the corrupted officials of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Karnataka State Nursing council, Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board, Indian Nursing Council etc. Later to save the nation from the clinches of this evil spirits he and his team approached Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka with a Public Interest Litigation. PIL (WP 43236/2019) and demanded a CBI investigation. The proceedings of this PIL are in progress before the Hon’ble court of Karnataka.
Recently, to strengthen this PIL Mr. Thomas added / impleaded more nursing colleges and the students who are completed these nursing courses in the previous years and who are presently undergoing these nursing courses into this PIL. Sources close to Mr. Thomas reveals that he will be executing an affidavit with regard to this before the Hon’ble court very shortly. As a part of the 1st stage of action plan for strengthening the above said PIL, Mr. Thomas collected the details of students who are studying for the various nursing courses illegally at the following nursing colleges from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science and Karnataka State Nursing council.
Following are the few guidelines and circulars issued by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore confirm that undergoing PB BSC (N) & MSC (N) courses through correspondence or without attending regular classes are against rules and regulations and against the law of the land and it will fetch civil and criminal offenses too.
