RTI Activist M.K. Thomas today fired another salvo at RGUHS Registrar Ramakrishna Reddy levelling the serious allegation against him and asked Karnataka Chief Minister Sri Siddaramaiah to immediately terminate his services.
Accusing Dr Ramakrishna Reddy for the various allegations raised against him by The Karnataka State Association of the Management of Nursing and Allied Health Institutions, Thomas said the new Karnataka Government led by Sri Siddaramaiah should have terminated him at the earliest. In his letter to the Chief Minister, Thomas said that as a registrar of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science he should have understand about the difficulties of Nursing institutions and their problems. But he failed to fulfil his duties and instead he misused his post for food and shelter.
Dr Reddy who has been associated with RGUHS since 2000, currently he holds various positions apart from his role as a registrar. However in the complaint filed against him with The Karnataka Lokayukta by social worker and student activist Lokesh Ram reviles that even though more cases were booked against Dr Reddy, the former government led by BJP has not taken any action.
In his letter to Chief Minister Thomas alleged that despite holding a sensitive and very high post at RGUHS, Dr . Reddy has been making mandatory benefits of cores of rupees by misusing his post and power.
Thomas said that various allegations levelled by Dr. Harsha and Lokesh Ram against Dr Reddy were “prima facie true” and require termination of Dr Ramakrishna Reddy’s services “immediately” in the “ interest of the state as well as the interest of lakhs of students who are studying under various institutions affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore.
