Dr K. Venkatagiri should be expelled from RGUHS syndicate, activist MK Thomas complains to Governor of Karnataka and state government.

In the above story we explained about an unauthorized excess fees robbery by Little Flower College of Nursing, Bangalore. Little Flower College of Nursing, Bangalore is run by Sandesh Educational, Cultural and Charitable Trust and Dr.K.Venkatagiri is the President of this trust. In a reply to a RTI Act 2005 enquiry made by activist M. K. Thomas, government of Karnataka, Health and Family Welfare Department, Medical Education reconfirmed that tuition fees fixed for management quota seat for 4 years B.Sc nursing course is Rs.65,000 / per year and other extra fees for this course is fixed as Rs 5250/-( for 4 years). This tuition fees is fixed as per HFW 113 MPS 2009. Sofar government of Karnataka is not revised this fees structure.

But while looking at the fees structure for 4 years B.Sc nursing course issued by Little Flower College of Nursing is really shocking. This fees structure itself establishes that this nursing college management was illegally looting the poor nursing students. Following is the true copy of the image of a fees structure for B.Sc nursing course for the year 2021-22 issued by the above nursing college. And at this nursing college the robbery goes like this. Instead of Rs.65, 000 1st year tuition fees, this nursing college collecting Rs. 1, 15,000 as 1st year tuition fees from each students! Another fact is that the actual applicable eligibility fees to be paid at RGUHS by each students is Rs.1000/- for B.Sc nursing course, but this nursing is collecting Rs.11,000 from each student i.e. 11 times of the actual fees fixed by RGUHS? Another tragedy is that every student who took admission for B.Sc nursing course should pay Rs.21, 000 as “MISCELLANEOUS” fees? In short a clear evidences of excess fees robbery by this nursing college management. Based on this crystal clear evidences activist Mr. M. K. Thomas forwarded complaints to His Excellency Governor of Karnataka who is the Chancellor of RGUHS, Dr. K.Sudhakar, Hobl’e Minister for Medical Education and Pro Vice Chancellor of RGUHS and Principal Secretary Medical Education and requested to expel Dr.K.Venkatagiri  from RGUHS syndicate with immediate effect.

Future 360 published this story in our online portal and it circulated widely. Thus general public came to know about the real colour of Dr.K.Venkatagiri and this RGUHS syndicate member got frightened for losing his post. Dr.K.Venkatagiri tried to favour Mr. Thomas through one of his strong friend whose nursing institution faces more allegations and offered money for removing the news from future 360. But Mr. Thomas refused and then Dr.K.Venkatagiri filed the complaint against future 360 and Mr. M. K. Thomas and circulated the copy of the complaint through social media. This was a tricky idea for threatening Mr. M. K. Thomas and future 360. But his idea won’t work out because MR. M. K. Thomas was waiting for such an opportunity to expose more illegal activities and atrocities about Dr.K.Venkatagiri and Little Flower College of Nursing, Bangalore. ‘Apart from the various allegation mentioned in the complaint against Dr.K.Venkatagiri, Government of Karnataka Medical Education department and RGUHS should conduct a detailed investigation into all the inspections conducted by Dr.K.Venkatagiri at various nursing and other institutions during these days.

Before conducting an impartial investigation RGUHS should remove Dr.K.Venkatagiri from the syndicate and assure transparency. The entire operations of Dr.K.Venkatagiri is sponsored by some notorious nursing and allied health institutions managements and with the help of Dr.K.Venkatagiri, they hijacked the day to day activities of RGUHS. That is how many illegal institutions are obtaining affiliation from RGUHS. If RGUHS nor the government of Karnataka is not initiating any action on my complaint within 30 days’ time period, we will bring this serious issue before the Honbl’e High Court of Karnataka and seek remedy. If the allegations raised by me are false and defamatory I am ready to go to any jail in Karnataka and face trials and stop all my activisms “said Mr. Thomas and challenged Dr.K.Venkatagiri to prove his innocence.
