Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science’s fake game has been come out. More than Rs 500 cores worth of black money flows every year. Prominent RTI activist Mr. M.K Thomas filed the complaint with the Chief Justice, Honbl’e High Court of Karnataka and Enforcement Directorate for a thorough investigation.
There is no doubt that this move will substantially affect all the students who believed the words of agents and have secured admission in courses like BSC, GNM etc. for the academic year 2021-2022. Legal experts says that there will be major setbacks in the field of nursing studies in Karnataka in the coming days based on this clear complaint lodged by Mr Thomas . Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science has implicitly admitted that it has been running an illegal nursing education program for years in association with over 100 notorious nursing institutes in the
state of Karnataka. There are lakhs of fraud nurses in the society who are cheating humanity by obtaining degree and post graduate degree in PBBSC and MSC nursing courses illegally without attending regular classes.
After gathering clear evidence of massive fraud in some of the nursing institutions in the state of Karnataka, RTI Activist Mr. M. K. Thomas approached Honbl’e High Court of Karnataka with a Public Interest Litigation (WP 43236)2019), demanding CBI investigation into the alleged conduct of various nursing courses illegally by some nursing colleges in Karnataka . To collect more evidences for submitting before the court, on 8-7-2021, Mr. Thomas filed over 100 RTI applications under the Right to Information Act seeking information on student pursuing their studies in PBBSC and MSC nursing courses in over 100 nursing colleges which are affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science. The need for these applications was also clearly mentioned in the applications. As per the RTI Act 2005 it is mandatory for the university to supply the information within 30 days’ time ie. The
reply to Mr.Thomas should be supplied on or before 8-8-2021. But in response to Mr. Thomas requests, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, however, has asked these nursing colleges to supply this information directly to Mr. M. K. Thomas. This is where the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science process went wrong.
Why did Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science violate the RTI Act 2005 by issuing such letters to the nursing
colleges when all the documents/ information sought by Mr .M. K. Thomas through RTI Act are in the possession of the University? It is clearly been understand that Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science is warning nursing colleges to take the necessary precautions to protect themselves from this massive scam in one way or another. It is clear that Rajiv Gandhi Health of Health Science has claimed responsibility for the entire scam through this illegal activity. Mr.M. K Thomas has filed a complaint to the Honourable Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court,
Directorate of Enforcement and others seeking immediate action to stop the continuing illegal and treasonous activities of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science and other 100 nursing colleges. Mr Thomas also demanded that the renewal process of continuation of affiliation these 100 nursing colleges for the 2021-2022 academic years are frozen until the investigation is completed. The following is a list of about 100 nursing institutions in Karnataka that are likely to lose recognition.
