The Prime Minister’s office (PMO) swiftly swung into action to curb illegal PB BS c & MSC
nursing Education which is still continuing at many nursing institutions in Karnataka state.
According to sources, PMO received a detailed complaint from renowned RTI Act 2005
activist Mr. M. K. Thomas, who in his complaint claimed with strong evidences that
thousands and thousands of nurses has been illegally obtained under graduation and post-
graduation in various nursing courses and presently they are either working at many
hospitals in India and abroad. Also he claimed that large numbers of students are presently
under going these precious nursing courses illegally at many nursing institutions in
Karnataka. Mr. Thomas in his detailed complaint claimed that this kind of illegal practises
possess great to the health care system of our nation as well as the globe and the world
wide respected gained by Indian nurses will also be damaged. PMO forwarded the
complaint to the Chief Secretary of Karnataka for further actions and enquiry. Also based
on the same complaint which submitted to Health Ministry Govt. of India forwarded to the
Principal Secretary (ME) Government of Karnataka for necessary action.
